Key visual and custom typography design created for Della Ding's "A Night Tour" concert at the Taipei Arena, built around the imagery of a nocturnal journey—centered on "nocturnal creature × floating city." Della and a night cat enter a surreal midnight dreamscape together, with the night cat as the guiding symbol leading viewers into an unfinished dream.

This project created the key visual and custom typography design for Della Ding's "A Night Tour" concert at the Taipei Arena. We started from the imagery of a "night wander," considering the multiple states of night—romance, wildness, and a sense of floating somewhere between reality and illusion. Centered on "nocturnal creature × floating city," the surreal setting brings Della and a night cat together as they enter a midnight world of imagination. Along the way, we went through the selection of various animal imageries, ultimately settling on the night cat as the symbol—standing quietly at the city's edge, guiding viewers into an unfinished dream.

Typography

The custom typeface draws on the curved language of English calligraphy, giving the letterforms a fluid, playful sense of motion with striking contrast in stroke weight and rich layering. It also incorporates the cursive pen-stroke design of the letter "n," and subtly embeds the night cat's eyes into the character "夜" (night), reinforcing character recognition and the overall visual memorability.
