36th Golden Melody Award
Nominee VCR
Music is not a product of language, but a structure of perception.
Every sound carries its own cultural and temporal context,
yet it finds echoes in other melodies, engaging in dialogue within unfamiliar rhythms.
Unity is not the amplification of a single signal, but the resonance that emerges from responding to difference.

We designed the nominee VCRs for the 36th Golden Melody Awards (GMA). These visuals were then applied to the live stage and utilized for the ceremony's live broadcast.

Continuing with the annual theme, we utilized the "Hexagon" as the core geometric unit, using geometry as structure and motion as language to translate the flow and collision of music.

This formed the #GeometricFieldofFrequencyResonance, from which six dynamic qualities were derived.
Alignment | Ripple | Tension | Fold | Frequency | Convergence

These are not static forms, but a rhythmic "Organic Order," continuously generated between light and rhythm.

Syncronization
This is not a uniform rhythm, but a keen sensitivity to frequency—like tuning in silence, finding the right channel within the details. It embodies the artistry of precise control and the harmony of ensemble resonance.

Tension
Tension is a driving force of creativity—born from rhythmical contrasts, emotional pull, and stylistic collisions.
The friction of rhythm and the tug of style ignite every creation, unleashing its power through tension.

Frequency
Frequency symbolizes each singer’s unique vocal path and rhythm of expression.
It arises from one’s life experiences, vocal timbre, and emotional intensity, shaping an irreplaceable channel of sound.

Ripple
Sound and image leave their mark—resonances that linger, imperceptible yet shared, forming a silent collaboration across creations.

Fold
Folding is a dynamic language that reorganizes and juxtaposes multi-dimensional narratives and diverse styles.
The creation of albums, songs, and music videos transcends stylistic boundaries, merging different media and forms to reveal layers of conceptual depth and emotional flow.

Aggregation
In bands and vocal ensembles, each part carries its own rhythm, tone, and emotion—yet together they weave into shared phrases, enriching and elevating one another.
